Riding on the plains, wind in my hair
Coldest winds, from the northern skies
We must fight, to stay a live
We shall prevail, we will not die
Slashing, stabbing, thrusting
My sword in hand and friends at side
Screaming, shouting, crying
My horse below, and shield at arm
Enemies fall before me
Bleeding from deeper wounds,
than ever before has been
Arms and legs feel numb of cold
Time for rest is later
Time to live is now
Enemy approaching
I must attack!
Fields of snow – Deep in the valleys of home
Barren wastes – All scattered with bodies forgotten I gather my strength, but the world is in chaos
I cannot separate friend from foe
What is happening, I cannot tell
I feel the ground become my sky
Slashing, stabbing, thrusting
My sword in hand and friends at side
Wounding, maiming, killing
Blood stains the bright white ground
Fields of snow – Deep in the valleys of home
Barren wastes – All scattered with bodies forgotten
I fall from my horse onto the snowy ground
As I lie here, I realize
my legs are beside me – and I am gone
Here is my eternal resting place…

Nightfall approaches on the light of day.
Shadow darkening, leading astray.
False light emitted, from the clouds above.
Rhythmic choral sounds, to numb and calm.
You still stand there
looking for a sign, from none.
I see, through the
cloudy words of forgotten times.
Eyes and visions, not joined as one.
Sundown, of both earth and mind.
Truths set in mind, from being carved on stone.
Forgotten lies, now learned as truths.
What reason is there for trusting an abstract being,
with your mind, heart, and soul?
Nightfall approached on the light of day.
Shadow darkened, it lead astray.

Overtaken, by the light of everglowing.
You still stand there
looking for a sign, from none.

Winterlunium Sweden
Winterlunium is a one-man metal project.
It was founded in 1999 in Åkersberga, Sweden by its one and
only member: Åke.
The name “Winterlunium” comes from latin “interlunium” (New Moon) combined with “Winter”.
